We are so grateful we had the chance to work with Tom Hallock at LoanPeople! We were on a tight timeline and honestly weren’t sure how everything would come together—but Tom made it happen.
From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive, organized, and on top of every detail. He walked us through each step, answered all our questions, and made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and smooth.
What really stood out was how quickly and efficiently he got everything done. We truly felt like we were in good hands the entire time.
We can’t thank Tom enough for helping us get into our home, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking lender!

From start to finish, he was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and transparent about every step in the process. He took the time to clearly explain our options, answered all of our questions in a timely manner and made what can be a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable.
Tom kept us informed throughout the entire loan process and made sure there were no surprises along the way. His communication and honesty really stood out, and it gave us a lot of confidence in our decisions.

Tom is unbelievable and will make a large positive difference in your home buying experience. He hustled our mortgage through and enabled us to close in 2 weeks despite a lot of financial and scheduling complexity.
The lender does make a difference beyond just the high-level mortgage terms – so use Tom. Delete the stress – he will handle it.

I purchased my first home in December 2025, a condo in North Austin, with Tom’s incredible guidance. He was referred to me by a close friend who also went through Tom for her home purchase, so I trusted him immediately.
I am a single person buying my first property in an expensive city, so was really nervous about whether the numbers were going to work for me. I am a frugal person who is thoughtful about my budget and I wasn’t willing to go above my means to buy a house. He took my first-round numbers as seriously as I did and didn’t push me to take on terms that weren’t part of my original plan.
He was available, present, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with.
A true blessing.

At the very last minute, we were able to transfer our builder promotions with Tom and he got us an amazing deal, even other lenders couldn’t believe it!
